Action packed end of term for students at Seckford Education Trust
Students at SET Saxmundham, Beccles and Ixworth schools have ended the term with an action-packed week of activities and outings – from aeroball in Norfolk to codebreaking at Bletchley. The Seckford Education Trust’s annual Summer Enrichment Week offers all students an opportunity to visit new places, explore their interests and make memories at the end of a busy school year.
Students enjoyed interactive workshops in Pop Art, F1 Racing, African Theatre and more. The schools also hosted trips to London, Bath, and the Peak District, and attractions including Duxford Imperial War Museum, Alton Towers, and Kingswood Outdoor Adventure Centre.
Mark Barrow, CEO, Seckford Education Trust, said: “We’re proud to offer a diverse package of activities and trips for students as they celebrate the end of term. Enrichment experiences and immersive learning opportunities are an important part of the weekly timetable at SET schools, alongside a broad and balanced traditional curriculum.”
