Since leaving Beccles in 2015, Lydia has gone on to gain three A’ levels and an EPQ at Woodbridge School.

Leaving Woodbridge in 2017, Lydia started at the University of Liverpool in September 2017 to study Physiotherapy. Here she has represented the University in Fencing and Horse-riding at a national level, as well as enjoying the city of Liverpool and being the Social Secretary for the Fencing Club.

She will be graduating in summer of 2021, after which she hopes to move to London to work as a Physiotherapist for 18 months of rotations, and then on to join the Army as a Physiotherapist.

Non-academically, she has qualified for the Pony Club Championships in the summers of 2016, 2018 and 2019, in multiple disciplines. However, the summer 2019 Championships were cancelled due to heavy rain, so a South of England Dressage Championships was held instead, where her team won.

She also competed in the Pony Club Endurance Championships in 2019 at Euston Park; this is run alongside the World Endurance Championships which was extremely exciting and enjoyable for Lydia.

We wish Lydia every success and look forward to following her career after graduation this summer.
